If life is a book and it has say 12 chapters only, then I’ll be on the 7th chapter so far. My life will be more than halfway but still has several more chapters to go. But that is, if I am the author of my life; however I am not but God is.

God is the one writing my life story. So when I say that some part I would like to happen in a certain way but then God thinks that it’s not how my story should go because He is writing a better one for me, my common sense tells me that I should just leave my life story to the greatest writer who is God.

My story is still on going and as much as I would like to influence the plot God knows what is the best story for my life should be. He already wrote it even before I was born, and He has the best story for my life. I just have to go with God’s flow for I know that in everything I can make plans but in the end it is His purpose which will prevail. And that is for the best for He knows the plans which He has for me. “For I know thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11

But then I can be a co-author of my life story by praying and making requests. And definitely the Lord will make some wonderful twist and turns and so it will be the best read ever. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”- Philippians 4:6,7

My life story is full of many twists and turns already. Sometimes I cannot help but be dazed and confused. But I am holding on. I am holding on to God’s promises. I am standing on His promises for I know one day soon He’ll deliver the goods which I have long been waiting for. I am trusting in the Lord with all my heart, not leaning on my own understanding. And I am acknowledging Him in all my ways. He is always directing my path. ( Proverbs 3:5,6)

God is Love. And God has no boundary, therefore Love has no boundary. It’s as simple as that. Why am I making things complicated when God is simple? He just wants me to trust in Him and lead the way. He is taking care of everything for me. I just have to look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith. (Hebrews 12:2)
